President - Lacee K

I am happy to be your Chesak Martin PTA president.  I have 3 children: 8 year old, 4 year old, and a 3 year old. I am a Physician Assistant and also do gymnastics teaching for fun. I love being involved with my children's school as this is where they spend the bulk of their awake hours during the school year.

Vice President - Mindi M

My husband, Chuck, and I have 2 Dual Language kids at Chesak (currently 1st and 2nd grade). Besides the PTA, I substitute teach for the district and am a local Realtor. It is important to me to be involved and give back to the community and our schools! Our kids are involved at school, the park district, and gymnastics. We love calling Lake in the Hills/Huntley home

Vice President - Amy B

My name is Amy Barr and I currently have a 3rd grader at Martin. I am a high school math teacher at Woodstock North HS.  My daughter plays Huntley Little League softball, dances ballet, and plays golf at Pinecrest. I am excited to help connect the school and community with the work of the PTA.

Treasurer & Media - Amanda S

Hi! I am Amanda Sevcik and this is my fifth year as the treasurer of the PTA.  I have 3 kids - my oldest daughter is a 5th grader, my son is a 3rd grader and my littlest daughter turned 2 over summer.   I am currently a stay at home mom but taking classes through MCC for my Bookkeeping Certificate and possibly my Accounting Certificate.  Prior to having our awesome kids, I was a High School Math Teacher.  I love being on the CMPTA Board and look forward to a fantastic school year!

Secretary - Sarah T

Hello, my name is Sarah Tunzi and this will be my fifth year as the CMPTA Secretary. My son,
Joey is a fifth grader at Martin elementary. We absolutely love Martin and the Huntley School
District! I have been married to my husband, Vince for 13 years and with him came my 26-year-
old stepson, Michael, whom I’m fortunate to be a stepmom to. We moved to Huntley 7 years
ago and we quickly fell in love with it. Besides being a full-time mom, I am fortunate to be a
substitute within the district, a volunteer RE teacher at St. Mary’s Catholic Church and secretary
for CMPTA. I was blessed to be raised by parents who were very involved in their community
and schools and I look forward to carrying on the same commitment in our education system,
teachers and community in any way I can.
