About Us
The Chesak/Martin PTA is a not-for-profit 501(c)(3)
organization. We are one of the largest local chapters of the
National PTA, headquartered in Chicago. We are a diverse organization made up of moms, dads, caregivers, teachers and administrators.

make our organization even better.
Your generous gift will directly benefit the students at both Chesak and Martin schools. We support over 2200 students and 350 staff between both schools and rely on donations such as yours to run our
organization (we are 100% run by volunteers and
donations/fundraisers).

Message from the President
Hello to the parents of our ECC Porcupines, Chesak Cheetahs, and Martin Huskies. My name is Joy
Luperini, and I am excited to have been elected as the CMPTA president this year. I have twin boys who
are in 2nd grade and we absolutely love our campus!
I am eager to work with all of you as parents, teachers, and staff so that we can make this a great school
year for our children. The new board, including Jennifer Parra as Vice President, Amanda Sevcik as Treasurer,
and Sarah Tunzi as Secretary, and I have some new ideas for family events to have this year. We want you
to think of the PTA as an extension of your child’s school family. We are all here to support each other, and
most importantly, support our amazing students and staff.
