Dear Parents and Friends:

I can’t believe that this is the end of the 2009/10 school year -- how time has flown this year.  We have had a great year, and as I reflect on the school year I can't help but feel gratitude for all the people that help our children have a great experience here at May Chesak and Hannah Martin Elementary.  We are extremely lucky to have an administrative staff and group of educators totally committed to our kids. They all work hard every day to make sure our children have a good, safe learning environment that also provides them a quality education.  

I also reflect on all of the many hours that you parents put in volunteering in the classroom and for the other PTA activities.  We have had a lot of really fun activities this year that would not be possible without the help of volunteers, so thank you so much for all that you have done to help in any way this school year. Many hands make the work go quickly, and the work you do never goes unnoticed.

The summer months still prove to be busy for the PTA as we work to bring more fun, family times and quality programs and services to our Chesak and Martin community.  Make sure you stay tuned to this website for information on summer happenings and back to school activities we are looking to launch.   

Once again, if anyone is looking to become more involved with the PTA we are still looking to fill our Secretary officer role, as well as co-chairs for Reflections, Wrap Paks, Ways & Means, and Variety Show.
